仕事柄、メール等で英文を読み書きする機会が多いのですが、自分で作成した英文の添削用に「DeepL」というアプリを使っています。
ただ、DeepL翻訳は、文法の誤りや綴りのTypoなどのミスに寛大なので、あまりチェック用には使えないことが多いです。
逆に、時間をセーブしたいときに、英語で送ってきたメールをざっくり和訳するには便利なんですけどね。
むしろPDFやWordなどのファイルまるごとアップロードして、翻訳文をそのファイル形式でダウンロードしたりするのが真っ当な使い方なのかもしれません。
あたしの用途では、普通のGoogle翻訳のほうがいいのかもしれません。ただDeepLが翻訳したいテキストをドラッグして[Cntr+C+C]で瞬時に翻訳できちゃうので、ついついDeepLに頼ってしまいます。
